Step 1: Check the Basic Requirements
- Age 21 or older
- Intermediate to advanced English
- At least 1 year of retail, sales, or hospitality experience
- Valid Colombian passport
- Clean criminal record (Antecedentes Penales)
- No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands

Step 3: The Interview Process

Step 4: Documents Required from Colombia

- C1/D US Crew Visa (required for ships departing US ports)
Step 5: Medical Exam in Bogota
The medical exam is conducted at Bio Clinique Pasteur in Bogota (Calle 34 # 13A-96). The cost is reimbursed by the company once you board the ship. The C1/D visa fee (~USD 185) is also reimbursed onboard.
What Will You Earn?
As a Retail Sales Associate with Starboard, the base salary is USD 900 per month plus performance commissions. Top sellers earn USD 1,500 to 2,000 per month. Accommodation, meals, and flights are all included.
