What Does a Starboard Sales Associate Do?
You will work in onboard duty-free shops selling perfumes, spirits, cosmetics, watches, and jewelry to international guests. You will work in a team of 10 to 30 people depending on ship size.
Salary and Commissions
Base salary: USD 900 per month. Commissions begin from month 3. Top performers earn USD 1,500 to 2,500 per month including commissions.
Contract Length
Standard contracts run 6 months. After completing your contract, you return home for approximately 2 months before the next contract.
What Starboard Looks For
Sales experience, English proficiency, outgoing personality, and professional appearance. They run a rigorous process including a personality assessment and a final interview.
